With operations already in effect since May 11, Negros Power confirmed that electricity supply in its franchise area remained stable. The company has also prepared two generator sets on standby to address any emergency power needs or unexpected disruptions.
As Central Negros casts its vote for new leadership, Negros Power reaffirms its commitment to supporting a smooth and orderly election process. Minor and isolated power interruptions were promptly reported at three polling centers—Pinuwayan Elementary School, Mailum Elementary School, and Bata Elementary School—all of which were resolved within an hour by the utility’s dedicated response teams.
To ensure rapid action and full-area coverage, Negros Power has deployed a total of 85 personnel across 20 roving teams, 36 response teams, 9 quick response teams, 12 line teams, and 8 organic response units. These teams remain on standby and continue to monitor key areas until election activities conclude.
“Our commitment goes beyond just providing electricity—we understand the importance of every vote cast and every voice heard. That is why our teams are working around the clock to make sure the elections proceed without disruption,” says Engr. Bernard Del Castillo, Chief Operating Officer of Negros Power. “We remain fully mobilized and ready to respond to any situation that may arise.”

Negros Power also continues to coordinate closely with the Commission on Elections (COMELEC), local government units, and law enforcement agencies to ensure smooth communication and rapid technical support when needed.
The company encourages the public to report any electrical concerns through its official hotline or social media platforms, where dedicated personnel are ready to assist.
With strong contingency measures and reliable back-up systems in place, Negros Power stands as a vital partner in ensuring a secure, peaceful, and well-powered electoral process in Central Negros.
