    1. hahaha That’s what my Nanay always tells me why I don’t lose weight. I keep on eating everywhere! haha

    1. You’re welcome. Will have to add some more because, yeah, THERE ARE MORE! haha This was fun to do. 😀 Please SHARE it to your friends and loved ones, too. 😀

  1. Thank you for featuring our local restaurants. Your list is almost complete, almost because you forgot the “sweetest part”, our famous cakes and pastries by Calea, C’s, Bongbong’s, Roli’s (home of the original napoleones), Felicia’s, Bob’s. Hope you will also include the teo restaurants at The Ruins, one serves Italian cuisine and the other serves native food.

  2. I totally loved your article and have been to many of the restaurants. I now have a much longer list to try out!! … Only correction is that the Viewing Deck Restaurants in Punta Taytay do no have the View blocked by Mangroves …. perhaps they once did, I don’t know but the views are wonderful now!!

    1. I know right!!!! hahaha And this is not even a complete list. Dennis has been reminding me of the places that we have dined in that I forgot to include, hehe I still have a trove of pictures that I haven’t uploaded. boo. haha

  3. Hi! I would like to invite you too eat at Margies’s Pasalubong located at the corner of Burgos and Lopez Jaena Sts. Aside from their Pasalubong goodies Piaya, Biscocho, Hopia and lots more, the store also offers local dishes that might delight you. Breakfast starts 7am and store closes by 6pm. Thanks.

  4. Hi there 😉 thank you for the list 😉 love your article 😉 btw I am personally inviting you to visit my friend’s newly opened resto in margarita st eroreco, ” got to grill ” hope that we can meet up there anytime soon 😉 pls feel free to leave me a message at your most convenient time 😉 looking forward to cu soon 😉 thanks a lot 😉

  5. hi sigrid am happy to see all your post, you can come also in my place to have a taste of my lechon,my concept is BUFFEt EAT ALL YOU CAN only for 170,with 20 dishes together with lechon, hope you can drop by.

  6. Hi Sigrid. It’s great that you have compiled almost all of Metro Bacolod’s best dining places. This could really help a lot, especially for those who are new in the metro. With a wide variety of gastronomic spots, Bacolod is indeed among the top Philippine cities to satisfy your hunger.
However since I am a true blue Negrense, desserts top my list. And for me, 27th Bascon Restaurant got it all. They don’t only have one of the best chocolate cakes (Baba Cake) but have other dishes as well from pasta and other Filipino and Negrense cuisine. One perfect place where you can simply taste the best. 🍴👍🎭😃

  7. I’d love to win gc from bcc so we can try their ice cream creations and sandwiches. I’m thinking of ordering gio’s 1st bday cake from bcc too. Please help me choose boots 🙂

  8. Being tempted by these scrumptious photos, I could not stop myself from claiming that I am proud to be a Bacoleño. With various choices of Ilonggo cuisine, Bacolod is known for its tastebuds-friendly food selections and of course the famous ‘chicken inasal’ – not to mention its affordable price.

I have traveled to different locations in the archipelago, but nothing beats the delectable taste of our very own native grilled chicken. Apart from its succulent meat, there is balance in spices and seasonings. Simple preparation there is, but the taste is flavourful.

Notwithstanding, the seafood galore is another delicacy worth craving for.

So if you are in Bacolod, never miss to try these palatable food choices.

  9. Bacolod … City of smile…u will have a big smile..after being satisfied from trying and tasting all the flavorful, sumptuous, delicious, unique food treats now being serve here…

  10. Nothing beats Bacolod chicken inasal! From Manokan Country to Chicken Deli and Chicken House–you will come back again and again for their distinct inasal taste.

  11. I always advise my guests that they need to have the credit card or cash ready to spend for eating since a visit in Bacolod isn’t complete if it doesn’t comprose of a sleepover and lots of eating. Chicken Inasal is definitely a requirement, preferrably in Manokan Country. But an American uncle of mine who lived all his life in San Francisco, California is one picky eater and has a list of his faves. Steak is best at Kristins although pricey, chicken inasal is a toss up with Aidas and Chicken House (but he doesnt care as long as its inasal), pasta is great at Italia, burgers will definitely be Bobs. But his regular fare would be 21 Restaurant, Pendys and Anas Grill (Melys Garden)

  12. Thank You Sigrid Says for featuring Rust Resto Bar and Big Daddy’s Diner… Your blog truly help us gain new potential customers… We appreciate it 🙂 God Bless 🙂

  13. oh la la!! I was surprised to see that I have missed so many good places to eat here in Bacolod, better than what I craved for from Manila restos, now I am excited to try all of these. 14. Thanks so much for the info. Now, I’m getting excited to home this December and try even just half of these places (excluding those I’ve tried before pa!). From breakfast, lunch, merienda to dinner even after that!!! Eating-spree is on our way…

  15. I just got hungry going over your list. Our 2 new good finds this month are: Jacopo at Mayfair — for good Indian/ Mediterranean food. I like their lamb dishes. Big plus : generous servings and reasonably priced. The second place is Quarterback Smokehouse in Margarita St., Eroreco. Their smoked ribs and chicken are also good. They have their own version of chicken bon chon called Kokiyo chicken.

    1. Ohhh I have yet to visit Jacopo again for their re-opening. Hopefully, we can visit them soon! 😀 Thanks for dropping by.

Eroreco is fast becoming a food center, too, ha. hihi (y)
