The global services and technology leader and the Philippines’ largest private employer, Concentrix, unveiled its newest site in the country, Concentrix Bacolod AIU. This investment in Bacolod City marks the company’s continued investment and commitment to the country and its people. The new site is the second place Concentrix operates in the City of Smiles. The launch event, called “Sweet Byte”, demonstrated the combination of Concentrix’s passion for innovation while including Bacolod’s vibrant culture, especially the MassKara Festival.

A Sweet Future: Concentrix Bacolod AIU Site

Partners from the government and private sectors attended the Concentrix Bacolod AIU site launch. There was also a media roundtable, where they showcased the facilities through a feature video. A site tour ensued for guests who wanted to experience the vibrant and tech-infused workplace the company has built in the “City of Smiles”.

1 Billion Peso Investment

With Concentrix’s total investment of almost Php 1.02 Billion into the new site, Concentrix Bacolod AIU currently occupies four floors spanning 8,246.40 square meters of the building. It features a game-changer “active zone”, gym, recreational areas, wellness, and sleeping lounges among its tailor-fitted staff amenities.

At present, Concentrix Bacolod AIU caters to approximately 1,800 game-changers. The good news is, the common areas are also accessible for the over 1,300 team members who are reporting in the other Concentrix site, Bacolod SanParq.

Work at the Concentrix Bacolod AIU Site

The Concentrix Bacolod AIU team currently supports customer experience, technical support and sales work. Along with the other existing site in Bacolod SanParq, Concentrix’s Bacolod workforce is the partner-of-choice for multiple clients in the communications, travel, and technology sectors.

Concentrix Bacolod Site Director John Robert “Rob” Planta, a native of Bacolod City, led the launch activities and joined the roundtable as co-panelist. Mr. Planta now has an 18-year career in the industry that saw him rise from frontline Advisor to Site Director.

According to Rob, “We’re so proud of the ‘Sweet Byte’ launch event for Concentrix Bacolod AIU as it brings together two things we love — our company’s passion for innovation and Bacolod’s distinct local flair.
