Bago City Commends Negros Power’s Dedicated Efforts in Restoring Power Service Following Typhoon Tino
Bago City recognized Negros Power for its outstanding service during the emergency response operations following the onslaught of Typhoon Tino.

Engr. Leomel Tambanillo, Assistant Vice President for Planning and Business Operations of Negros Power, accepted the citation in behalf of the company.
The City Government of Bago, Negros Occidental, through the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (CDRRMC), recognized Negros Power for its unwavering commitment and outstanding service. This was especially evident during the emergency response operations following the onslaught of Typhoon Tino.

During the Pasidungog kag Pagkilala ceremony held on July 1, 2026, at the Community Center in Barangay Poblacion, Bago City, Negros Power received a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of its invaluable contribution to the city’s disaster response and recovery efforts. The award honored the company’s dedication in restoring electricity and ensuring that affected communities regained access to an essential service despite the challenges brought by the typhoon.
