The Philippine property giant is going to spend P1.2 Billion to construct two Megaworld BPO Office Towers in Bacolod. This is going to be the first two office developments inside the 34-hectare The Upper East. Exciting times ahead for Bacolod talents!

Two Megaworld BPO Office Towers in Bacolod Happening Soon
The two office towers will be called No. 1 Upper East Avenue and No. 5 Upper East Avenue. These will offer a total of 17,000 square meters of office spaces. It has the necessary provisions for the information technology and business process outsourcing (IT-BPO) sector.
The Megaworld BPO Office Towers will be strategically located along the township’s main avenue called the six-lane Upper East Avenue. This connects the city’s main streets of Lopez Jaena and Circumferential Road. Both towers will be facing the soon-to-rise Upper East Mall, and they will sandwich the township’s central park.
“These two new office towers will be Megaworld’s first office developments in Bacolod. With these, we look forward to bringing in new BPO locators to the city. To be operated under our Megaworld Premier Offices brand, these Upper East Avenue towers will showcase the company’s signature state-of-the-art features in office developments.” These were revealed by Kevin L. Tan, chief strategy officer, Megaworld.
Tan also disclosed that these will be the “most modern offices to rise in Bacolod City.”
Environmentl-Friendly Design Architecture
The No. 1 Upper East Avenue and No. 5 Upper East Avenue towers will speak of Spanish and European architectural design. These will be registered under the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program.
Moreover, the Megaworld BPO Office Towers towers will have roof gardens and will utilize LED lightings in common areas. The toilets will have dual-flush technology for toilets. Meanwhile, the edifice will be peppered with double-glazed windows for heat insulation and energy-efficiency.

The office towers will offer basement and ground level parking for the convenience of its tenant partners and workers.
“These will be the only office buildings in the entire Bacolod City that are located within a fully-masterplanned township development. This means that everything is just within easy reach,” explains Tan.
The company will be spending P1.2-billion to build the two Megaworld BPO Office Towers in Bacolod. These are scheduled for completion in Year 2022.
Megaworld is the country’s biggest developer and lessor of offices with over 1.3-million square meters in office rental inventory. Almost 20 percent of the country’s BPO workers are employed in Megaworld office buildings.
This figure is expected to grow in the next five years as more office developments are being built in the company’s townships. Other Megaworld townships are:
