The new normal. In the situation that we have now, we are trying to survive despite the threat of the Covid-19. It’s everywhere, so we might not easily dine in Bacolod restaurants. But despite that, we are all the more encouraged to celebrate little milestones because of the uncertainty that tomorrow will bring. You can now easily order party platters and desserts with Kook BCD for a hassle-free celebration with your family or co-workers.
Ordering Party Platters and Desserts for Gatherings
When you have a small gathering at home for birthdays or for your Sunday family meals, it would be nice to order something special that you don’t normally cook at home. You have a choice between ordering from Bacolod restaurants or from online sellers.
The Enhanced Community Quarantine because of Covid-19 has seen the rise of online sellers. Many started their businesses because either they have lost their jobs or were forced to diversify because their old enterprise is no longer viable in the new normal.
If you are going to order party platters and desserts, do consider Kook BCD. They have some premium dishes for sharing as well as luxurious sweets. Order at least one day ahead of your event and you will surely get delicious, safe, and carefully prepared meals that will impress the whole family. All you need to cook is rice.
One of the first dishes that Kook BCD sold is carbonara. The pasta party platters are very in-demand, especially during Christmas. You may order worth half a kilo or a kilo of spaghetti.
Now, they also have lengua with mushroom sauce and the baked salmon, which is oh-so-good! Paired with corn and carrots, the sidings are seasoned perfectly to complement the juicy salmon.
Desserts by Kook BCD
Kook BCD doesn’t really have a lot of items in their menu because they focus on their specialties. But these carefully curated party platters also have its sweet counterparts.
Yes, you could not help it. Party platters and desserts should go together.

Their two cakes have found their way among the sweet tooth crowd of Bacolod. These are the moist chocolate cake and the carrot walnut cake.
We have tried their carrot cake and it’s different from the others we’ve tried. It’s packed with walnuts, has a hint of lemon, and stays moist even when refrigerated. You just got to try it.
They also have coconut macaroon in a tin can as well as revel bars that are oozing with chocolates. And oh, they have revel bars, too.
About Kook BCD
Kook BCD is owned and operated by a young Bacolod entrepreneur, Pauline Marie Lim. Since she was in high school, she already enjoyed cooking and baking for family and friends. And that is the primary reason why she took up culinary arts in college. She completed her degree from the De La Salle College of St. Benilde in Manila.
Now back in Bacolod City, Pauline busied herself helping in the family business because that was expected. Nevertheless, she continued cooking and accepting orders from friends. Her advertising was mostly word of mouth.
For now, Pauline accepts small batches of orders for her party platters because she personally prepares these dishes herself.
She even used to do the delivery, but with the increasing number of orders, clients can either pick up their orders in Mandalagan, Bacolod City or arrange for third-party food delivery services.
Contact Information
Party platters and desserts by Kook BCD are available every day, including weekends. Just make sure to send a message to Pauline at least one day ahead so she has some lead time to prepare. Message her through the Kook BCD Facebook page or through text.
