Have you seen the hashtag #SMFeb30th lately? Yep, it’s real and it’s not a typographical error. That is because the SM Supermalls chain all over the country is celebrating their biggest event by far–their 30th anniversary!

So here are the reasons to celebrate!

1. Yes. SM Supermalls, the mall that many of us have grown up with, is celebrating their 30th founding anniversary. And yes, they are not going to celebrate it quietly. Expect a lot of simultaneous gimmicks as well as different events in different malls all over the country.

2. It’s a year-long celebration! Yep, you read it right. It’s not a one-day thing. It’s not a one-month thing. It’s a nine-month-long revelry that will commence this February! Three quarters of the year! #SMFeb30th

3-6. Quarterly sales. Expect big quarterly sales starting this February. So mark the dates:

1st quarter – February 29
2nd quarter – April 30
3rd quarter – July 30
4th quarter – October 30

7-9. The Magic 30 savings. Because it’s their 30th anniversary, SM Supermalls will generously give away 30-based savings to their shoppers. On some dates, they will give 30% off, or P30 off, or even P30 offers! Awesome!

10. Free 30 SMAC Points. On February 29, SMAC holders will get free bonus 30 points for at least P3000 purchase.

11-14. 30 Best Celebrations. SM Supermalls is going to hold the 30 Best Celebrations and these will be held on March, May, and August. For March, it’s going to be fashion and beauty. For May, shoppers can expect dining promotions. And for August, they have declared it the Cybermonth! For October, which is going to be the biggest will be a celebration for Family and Fashion.

15. Shop and Fly to Hong Kong! Thirty (30) lucky families will be flying to Hong Kong for an all-expense paid trip for four (4)! Promo runs from February 12 to March 13, 2016. Every P1000 purchase all over the mall will entitle the shopper to one (1) raffle coupon. Every P500 worth of Disney items purchased will get you a coupon as well.

16. Shoppers who will win the Hong Kong trip will get extra treats because it’s Hong Kong Disneyland’s 10th anniversary!

17. Disney Photo booth. In 52 SM malls, there will be Disney photo booths so that you can have your photos taken with Mickey and Minnie!

18. Meet and greet. At SM North Edsa, SM Seaside Cebu, and SM Megamall, there will be a meet and greet with Mickey and Minnie.

19. Grand Raffle Draw. A grand raffle draw with an exciting program will be held at the SM Mall of Asia.

21. eplus card. The eplus card is a reloadable card that can be used that the SM Cinema. It can also get you upgrades, such as the double coupon reward for the Disney raffle if you use your eplus card for your purchases.

22. Regular daily sales. If you go to the mall or at the SM Store daily, you will find daily sales of the things you need.

23. Weekly programs. Check out the announcements of the SM Mall in your area because they have continuous weekly programs for everybody’s entertainment.

24. New shops opening. Watch out for the opening of international brands at the SM City Bacolod happening this year.

25. New flavors. A number of restaurants have opened last year at SM City Bacolod and more are expected to come. More flavors for the Bacolod palate!

26-27. Celebrities. Celebrities are scheduled to come to SM City Bacolod to grace different events. On March 5, Julie Ann San Jose and Aljur Abrenica will be performing at the SMX!

28-29. 1st Bacolod Autoshow. The first Bacolod autoshow is happening at the SMX on Feb. 26 to 28, 2016. Watch the biggest display of vintage cars as well as a competition for the most prepped up show car in Bacolod.
