Little Trivia

Do you know where the name of the hotel comes from? It is a nod to the number of years that the Bacolod real estate developer Fernando F. Gonzaga Inc. (FFGI) has been in business. After opening the Splash Park Bacolod more than a year ago, the company went busy building the hotel beside it.

Sitting on a very expansive property, guests will have to drive a short distance to the entrance of the hotel. Hopping off, there will surely be no cramping welcoming the guests here because of the wide porte cochere extending into an open lobby. The setback is at least 12 meters from the driveway to the glass walls of the commercial spaces for lease. Guests will then be ushered into a spacious airconditioned lobby where the front office and concierge are located.

Upon check-in, guests are issued an electronic key card as well as passes to the Splash Park Bacolod and their in-house concessionaire, JT Manukan.

There are only two kinds of accommodations here: the Deluxe Suites and the Premium Deluxe Suites. The only difference is, each premium suite features a jacuzzi.

All the suites have a master’s bedroom equipped with a king-sized bed and a guest bedroom with two single beds. It has a living area with a smart TV as well as a kitchenette with a complete set of dining utensils and a microwave oven. They even provide dishwashing liquid and sponge.

Meanwhile, the comfort room is efficiently designed with careful thought to several occupants. It has a separate shower area, lavatory, and toilet.

Mixing Old World architecture and contemporary design, the interiors are predominantly white, marble, and shades of gray. The only other color would be the Arctic blue accent wall where the large Smart TV is installed, making the screen standout and enhancing the viewing experience. Excellent idea!

Staycation Idea
