Seda Capitol Central 5th Anniversary and Christmas Tree Lighting

Seda Capitol Central Bacolod celebrates its fifth anniversary in a fiesta-style party with the theme Cinco de Capitolio last November 18. They also held their Christmas tree lighting ceremony on the same day as well as the birthday of their hotel manager, Mr. Kim Guimba.

Seda Capitol Central 5th Anniversary

The Satin Ballroom of Seda Capitol Central was lit up in a party atmosphere that’s reminiscent of old-time Pinoy fiesta celebrations for the Seda Capitol Central 5th Anniversary. It is even complete with the facade of a bahay kubo that hid a bar behind. Guests in Filipiniana regalia were also treated to a photo booth with a carriage setup.

The last five years had not been very easy as two years were spent in the pandemic with seemingly no end in sight. Thanks to the vaccine, the efforts of the government, and the cooperation of the people, we are now able to meet up with friends and celebrate milestone occasions, such as the 5th anniversary of Seda Capitol Central.

Everyone was in a festive mood, dancing to party tunes of the 80s as a live band led the merrymaking.

Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

As the hotel’s anniversary happens every November, it is also the perfect time to light up their Christmas tree, which is standing proudly in the lobby.

The ceremonial light-up was headed by Mr. Javier Hernandez, President and CEO of AHRC AyalaLand Hotels Resorts Corp, and Mr. Kim Guimba, Seda Capitol Central Manager.

Like in previous years, hotel guests can buy ornaments to add to the tree, as all proceeds will go to Smile Train Philippines–the hotel’s beneficiary for the last five years. Guests can avail of these special decors until the end of December. For inquiries, just ask the front office.

The event was also attended by Bacolod Councilor Em Ang, Ms. Melissa Carlos, Senior Group Director of Sales and Marketing of Seda Hotels, Mr. Joseph Del Rosario, General Manager of Seda Western Visayas, and Ms. Phearl Villuaruel-Paz, Chief Financial Officer of AHRC.

Hotel Manager’s Birthday

The day was made more special as it was also the 37th birthday of Mr. Guimba, who celebrated the day with his stunning wife Karen and adorable daughter Eli. In his message, Mr. Guimba said that he is looking forward to more and stronger years of the Seda Hotels brand of service in the City of Smiles.
