It’s that time of the year again and the Province of Negros Occidental is once again abuzz with excitement as we usher in the Panaad sa Negros 2024 this summer. Happening every April, Panaad sa Negros is hailed as the Mother of All Festivals, as all the 13 cities and 19 municipalities of the province are represented in the festivities. Panaad sa Negros 2024 is happening on April 15 to 21 at the Panaad Park and Stadium in Mansilingan, Bacolod City. More details below.
Launching of Panaad sa Negros 2024
After a strong comeback of the Panaad sa Negros Festival last year, Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose “Bong” Lacson is excited and bullish about the staging of this year’s festival.
“Just like everyone present here this afternoon, we are once again filled with excitement and anticipation. With barely a month remaining until our most-awaited week-long festival, this afternoon’s launching program serves as a prelude to the festivities….With the success of last year’s festival, which we had after a three-year hiatus, it is clear how the Panaad holds a very special place in the hearts of Negrenses,” Gov. Lacson said in his speech during the launch at the Capitol Lagoon and Park.
The launch was participated by the different cities and municipalities of Negros Occidental, including the lone district of Bacolod City, the capital of the province.
Panaad sa Negros 2024 Festival Director is still Ms. Cheryl Decena, Negros Occidental Provincial Tourism Officer.
