Negros Power extended assistance to Barangay 10 fire victims here in Bacolod City through its Ikaw ang Una campaign.
As part of its ongoing “Ikaw ang Una” campaign, Negros Power extended assistance to Barangay 10 here in Bacolod City. The company helped by donating sacks of rice and canned goods to residents affected by the recent fire incident in the area.
Ikaw ang Una: Relief Goods for Barangay 10
The relief goods were received by Hon. Melvin Bravo, Barangay Captain of Barangay 10, Bacolod City, who expressed his gratitude to Negros Power for its timely support.
“We are deeply thankful to Negros Power for extending help to our constituents during this difficult time. This assistance will greatly help our fire-affected families as they begin to recover,” Bravo said.

The Fire in Brgy. 10
The fire occurred in Purok Tambipalad, Barangay 10, last Saturday afternoon, January 24, 2026. The unfortunate incident damaged numerous homes and displaced several families.
Fire victims Alma Diocson and Alfredo Bustamante also shared their appreciation for the aid.
“We lost almost everything in the fire, so this help means a lot to us. At least we have food for our family while we try to start over,” said Diocson.

Meanwhile, Bustamante added, “The assistance came at the right time. We are grateful to Negros Power and to everyone who continues to help our community.”
Through the “Ikaw ang Una” campaign, Negros Power continues to prioritize the needs of the community, ensuring that residents affected by emergencies are among the first to receive support.
