Negros Power Donates 100 Sacks of Rice for Victims of Typhoon Tino

Negros Power donated 100 sacks of rice at to affected residents through the General Services Department of the Province of Negros Occ.
Aside from busy restoring power 24/7 in affected areas, the Negros Electric & Power Corporation also extended help to the victims of Typhoon Tino in Central Negros. Negros Power donated 100 sacks of rice at 25 kg. each to affected residents. These were turned over last November 17, 2025 ,to the General Services Department of the Province of Negros Occidental. This department is in charge of rationing help to typhoon victims identified by the province.

The Turnover
Negros Power, represented by Atty. Warven Ilalim, Community Relations Officer Ronald Reosura, and Klea Marie Tolones, turned over the sacks of rice to Mr. Arnel Argusar, General Services Department Head, PNO. They are one with the company’s stand of helping Negrenses get back on their feet after being ravaged by the signal No. 4 typhoon that brought wreckage to many communities in the province.
Meanwhile, Engr. Bernard Bailey Del Castillo, Chief Technical Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Negros Power, expressed compassion to all the victims of Typhoon Tino. “Our hearts go out to all Negrenses who continue to suffer from the effects of Typhoon Tino. This donation is a small gesture of our support, and we remain committed to doing our part in helping communities rebuild and recover.”
Negros Power linemen continue to work on restoring power in remote areas. The company continues in its motto of Service Beyond Power even in the wake of a tremendous calamity.
