From holding barangay fun days to lowering electricity prices, Negros Electric and Power Corp. (Negros Power) raises the bar in Christmas giving. In a heartwarming display of community spirit, Negros Power partnered with the World Surgical Mission Foundation Philippines to conduct a life-changing surgical mission. For five days, a dedicated team of 52 medical professionals from across the country transformed the Valladolid District Hospital into a beacon of hope, offering free surgeries to those in need.

Negros Power Holds Surgical Mission

The air at the hospital was thick with anticipation, a mix of nervous excitement and quiet hope. It wasn’t just the festive season of Christmas that brought these emotions, but the promise of healing and a chance at a brighter future.

For 142 Negrosanons, surgery was the only thing that helped them feel better and live better lives. Each patient carried their burden of pain and hardship, their lives limited by ailments. But through the generosity of Negros Power and the dedication of the World Surgical Mission team, hope was reignited among them.

“It’s heartwarming to see so many people come together to help those in need,” said Kristelle Pascual, Executive Director of the World Surgical Foundation Philippines. “We are deeply grateful to Negros Power for their unwavering support. They have truly embraced our mission to bring healing and hope to communities across the Philippines.”
