Despite the Covid-19 pandemic and restrictions, the 4th branch of Merzci Pasalubong Silay opened June 11, 2021. They decided to push through and continue to bring affordable food and jobs to the community. This makes the total number of 65 branches all over the island.

Merzci Pasalubong Silay Opens on a Hopeful Note
Just a day before the Philippines celebrated Independence day, Merzci Pasalubong Silay opened their 4th branch in the city. Merzci Pasalubong is one of the biggest manufacturers of Bacolod pasalubong eats. Travel restrictions because of Covid-19 have really affected their business that even their plans for their 25th anniversary last year were shelved.

But despite that, they are pressing on and with much hope, they have opened their 65th branch in the province–their 4th in Silay City. While they were known for their festive store openings, this one was very simple, so as not to draw big crowds. After the dedication, the store was opened to the public where some buy 1 take 1 merchandise were offered.
