GCash continues to make tidal waves in financial technology innovation. Being the Philippines’ no.1 mobile wallet app, continues to lead the way in financial technology innovations in the country as it was recently awarded by The Asian Banker at its Financial Technology Innovation Awards 2022.

Best Cloud-Based Implementation Platform by GCash and AWS

The prestigious award-giving body named GCash and its technology partner Amazon Web Services as “Best Cloud-Based Implementation for Platform” for facilitating more effective digital business solutions and innovative digital financial services by streamlining its business process.

Through its partnership with Amazon Web Services, GCash was able to swiftly automate its finance processes, enjoying approximately 85 percent improvement in processing time for recount, refunding, and resettlement, saving the company more than 2,600 man-hours per month.

“This recognition is a testament to our hard work and dedication to providing easy and convenient financial solutions to our fellow Filipinos. With our partnership with Amazon Web Services, we are closer to finally realizing our goal of financial inclusion for the whole country, especially the underserved and underbanked segments,” said Martha Sazon, GCash President and CEO.
