Throughout the pandemic, Merzci never stopped serving the people of Bacolod. Despite the business faltering and their silver anniversary celebrations canceled, they persevered. In order to remain relevant to the times, the company launched Merzci Cares. They have been reaching out and feeding frontliners, barangay workers, and local groups during ECQ.
Today, they have just launched something new and exciting for all of us. Introducing, the new Merzci fried chicken flavors. Yes, it’s no longer just your regular crispy fried chicken. You now have choices!
Here are the new Merzci fried chicken flavors:
- Soy Garlic
- Honey Glazed
- Spicy Sriracha
This new product is guaranteeing that there is something for the whole family. The Spicy Sriracha is for those who want things to be exciting and hot. The Soy Garlic is for those who love the extra zing for their fried chicken but wouldn’t wander far. Meanwhile, the Honey Glazed is for those who want theirs rather sweet.
Our Papa liked the sriracha, naturally! We always have a bottle of hot sauce at home, sriracha or not. Soy Garlic is for the little one while Achi liked Honey Glazed. Meanwhile, I had all to myself! haha

The new Merzci fried chicken flavors are available in all their fastfood outlets. These are served in different ways:

- 1-piece fried chicken with spaghetti
- 2-piece chicken with rice meal

I’ve tried all three flavors and SRIRACHA is my fave, too. Nuot ang flavors and perfect with any kind of rice. Black, Brown or white rice, the flavor is simply enjoyable. I00% satisfied. 🙂
