World Food Expo (WOFEX) in Bacolod

The WOFEX or World Food Expo, is in Bacolod. Everyone is invited to visit the exhibits from February 8 to 10, 2018, from 10am to 7pm, at the SMX Convention Center Bacolod. It’s located on the third floor of SM City Bacolod north wing expansion. Entrance is FREE.

Bacolod city officials headed by Councilor Cindy Tan-Rojas and Bacolod City Administrator Atty. John Orola and guests cut the ceremonial ribbon to mark the opening of WOFEX at the SMX Convention Center.

WOFEX is the region’s biggest and most focused food exhibit to date. This is the second time that the WOFEX is holding an event here in the City of Smiles. They believe that Bacolod City is the one of the country’s centers of culinary excellence, after all we have some of the best Bacolod restaurants serving great food — from native dishes to international fares.

With this belief in the culinary prowess of Bacolodnons, WOFEX brings this event to Bacolod in order to provide supply solutions to food industry practitioners. They also bring together F and B professionals that can provide excellent learning opportunities for anyone who wants to learn through the WOFEX University.

If you want to buy new equipment, it’s a good time to make that investment to upgrade your food business at the WOFEX Bacolod. There are lots of discounts and offers.

Everyone, including those who just love food, is invited to visit the WOFEX at the SMX. You can enjoy different learning activities, learn more about the food supply solutions, as well as great discounts and freebies when you shop for food items on sale.

The WOFEX helps boost Bacolod food tourism because food industry players, especially Bacolod restaurant owners, are kept abreast on new developments that they can apply in their business. The results would be improved products and services and hopefully better yields.

Furthermore, smaller players are given the chance to compete in the industry because suppliers are now within their reach. They no longer have to go to Manila and spend for a supplier hunting trip.

While we do have suppliers here in Bacolod, the choices are limited and prices can be steep.
