Vintage Collections is a quaint little shop at the Ground Floor of Mayfair Plaza, 13th-Lacson Streets, Bacolod City, Philippines.

But don’t be fooled by its size because going in, you would be surprised at how well-stocked and organized their merchandise are. Owned by a Bacolodnon who lives in Los Angeles, California, USA and who loves to shops for the nicest things, the store is actually divided into two departments–the imported grocery items and the vintage collectibles and premium novelty and household items.

Going inside the store, Vintage Collections has shelves upon shelves of grocery items that you love but could hardly find locally. Carefully arranged, you will find food stuff from pasta, sauces, salad dressings, ready-to-eat canned goods, spreads, juices, olive oil, nuts, to spices, and other condiments. Then there are chocolates, household cleaning stuff, toiletries, and of course, hair care products. They also have some linen, perfumes, colognes, makeup, and some dinner wares by the famous line, Corelle.

But just after the counter, you will discover why the store is named as such–the hard-to-find treasures within. In just a small area, they have managed to stock up on artful objects and imported premium household items that are for serious collectors. They have brands like Murano Glass from Italy, Lalique Glass from France, Royal Albert china, porcelain by Victorian Trading Co, and Limoges porcelain from France.

They have also other exquisite collectibles and novelty items, like the Halcyon Days pillboxes that are ornate and hand-painted. You would even find limited edition Norman Rockwell decorative plates featuring the classic film, Gone With the Wind. They also have some collectible bells, paintings, and exotic rugs for the home.

Vintage Collections has been around for almost three years now and you would really be surprised at the many things that you can find in their store. This is not your usual imported goods store. They have stuff that you will surely give you joy even just by holding them.
